AI is the biggest shift in how people work since the internet — and it’s only just begun. At Aevum AI Labs, we don’t chase the hype. We find intelligent, human-centered ways to put this technology to work, so the businesses we partner with do more, move faster, and stay ahead.
We’d rather show you than tell you. Here’s what we’ve actually built, solved, and delivered — three real stories, each one click away.
SameBoat’s community forum had been built years earlier on custom HTML, and by the time we came in, the technology was six to seven years old. What had once worked was now showing its age in every direction — the codebase was difficult to maintain, the features modern community members expect simply weren’t there, and the safety and moderation tools had fallen behind today’s standards.
The owner saw the writing on the wall: the platform needed a genuine technical uplift, not another patch. It had to be brought up to modern standards, made safer for its members, and given a foundation it could grow on for years — rather than something that would need rescuing all over again.
We started by mapping the realistic options, always weighing one question: how do we get the best possible outcome while keeping the cost sensible? Rebuilding a bespoke system from scratch would have been expensive and fragile. Instead, we chose to completely rebuild the forum on one of the leading platform engines that power modern community sites — proven, secure, actively maintained, and rich with the functionality SameBoat had been missing.
But we didn’t stop at a standard install. Out of the box, the platform didn’t deliver the look and feel the owner was after. So we went further and custom-designed the entire interface — reshaping it into something fresh, modern, and genuinely aligned with the SameBoat brand and the experience its community deserved. The result feels bespoke, while resting on a rock-solid, supported foundation underneath.
The outcome is a clean, sustainable SaaS arrangement with practically no upfront cost. Rather than carrying a large redevelopment bill and ongoing technical risk, the owner now simply rents the solution for a low monthly fee — with hosting and full technical support included in that single price.
In practical terms, the forum just runs. There’s no maintenance burden, no surprise costs, and no technical overhead for the owner to manage. Everything that used to be a worry is now handled, which frees the owner to focus entirely on what matters: their community, not their technology. It’s a textbook example of finding a really strong result through a smart, well-chosen solution — technology that quietly earns its place.

Small business owners are stretched thin. Their days are spent heads-down on the work in front of them — serving customers, running the floor, simply keeping the business moving. Building and maintaining an online presence sits at the bottom of a very long list, and there’s rarely time to get to it.
The cost of that is quiet but real. Customer questions go unanswered. Enquiries that arrive after hours sit until someone gets a spare moment — if they ever do. Bookings and quote requests slip through the cracks. For a small business, every one of those missed conversations is a lead, and often a customer, lost to a competitor who simply replied first.
Aevum Go removes the friction entirely. The owner fills in a simple questionnaire about their business, and our smart system does the rest — turning that information into a fully functional website, with the option to connect a custom domain or use hosting we provide.
At the same time, it creates a custom AI assistant that genuinely understands the business. For a café, the assistant knows the opening hours, the menu and the prices, and can take booking requests. For a tradie like an electrician, it can share call-out rates and starting fees and begin qualifying a job on the spot. Whenever a customer lands on the website or social page, they can chat to an expert that’s available around the clock — and the important enquiries get passed straight to the owner. It becomes a genuine 24/7 team member that does the work while the owner gets on with running the business.
Our goal is to fundamentally change how simple it is for a small business to get online and start communicating with customers using this new technology — a professional presence and a 24/7 assistant, set up in one effortless step, at a price that makes sense for a small operator.
Aevum Go is currently in development, and this is where we’re actively seeking investment partners. If you’re an investor who sees the size of this opportunity — an enormous, underserved market of small businesses ready for exactly this — we’d genuinely like to talk. We’re building something with real reach, and we’re looking for the right people to build it with.
PeopleShield set out to build something ambitious: the most comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training available. Not another single-format course, but a complete program that brings together training modules, videos, questionnaires, phishing simulation campaigns, live sessions, research and reporting — the full stack of what genuinely effective security education looks like.
The hard part was never the individual pieces; it was making them work as one. The vision called for all of these elements connected into a cohesive whole, with the intelligence to rank attendees by their skill level and adapt the program to each of them — so every learner gets training that actually fits where they are. Stitching that together from disconnected tools is exactly what most organisations struggle with.
We began by mapping precisely what platforms and tools existed, then built the complete technology stack that ties them together. The goal was that, from the student’s perspective, none of that complexity is visible — the experience feels like a single, naturally delivered training program that’s consistently on point and on topic.
Behind the scenes, we connected a range of applications and intelligence layers so the right content reaches the right person at the right time, adapting as each attendee progresses. Just as importantly, the system gives PeopleShield full control on the other side — clear oversight of attendees and rich, comprehensive reporting — so they can see exactly how their people are progressing and prove it.
The result is PeopleShield Apex — what we believe is one of the best and most comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training programs available today. It takes everything that competitors typically deliver as separate, independent products and unifies it into one cohesive, intelligent program.
For PeopleShield, that means a genuinely differentiated offering: a single program that covers the full breadth of security awareness, adapts to each learner, and reports comprehensively — setting a new benchmark for what this kind of training can be. For learners, it simply feels like the most complete, seamless training they’ve done.
